Mission

Veterans for Arizona® focuses on issues that are critical to veterans and active duty members of our military.  We serve those in uniform today and those who preceded them.

 Our Mission is accomplished by:

• Communicating our shared goals of a strong national defense, support for our troops and faithful commitment to those who have served.

• Encouraging effective leaders, who served honorably in our military, to seek national, state and local elected offices.

• Enhancing the opportunities of veterans, and those who serve in uniform today, to participate in the democratic process.

• Ensuring adequate funding is authorized and appropriated for our military and veterans services.

• Lobbying for realistic military and veterans’ legislation in Congress and State Legislatures.

• Protecting and expanding the health care and other benefits available to America’s veterans.

• Providing education and advocacy on behalf of veterans and their families.

• Reminding America of its commitment to the men and women who sacrificed much to protect our freedom and liberties.
